Philip Pearson - CEO
Philip has been the Chief Executive of United Health Plc since 1993. He was educated at Alsager College (Institute of Keele University) and Nottingham University where he gained a CertEd in control technology. He also gained a Post Grauate Diploma in Management Studies and an MBA.
In 1979 Philip became Regional Manager for BET Plc (formerly Hawker Sideley) then at the age of 28 moved to become Managing Director of Blindweir Ltd., a start up company that developed electronic security systems and microwave technology. The company built a portfolio of contracts to such an extent that within three years the company was approached and bought out by a major Plc.
Philip has developed United Health into a major healthcare company which is still undergoing a rapid expansion program, he is also the Chairman of Telemedcare Ltd responsible for the strategic development of the company which is introducing and deploying the Medcare technology in the UK market.

David Bottomley - Financial Director
David was educated at Imperial College, University of London where he gained an Honours degree in Mathematics. This led to him becoming an Associate of the Royal College of Science in 1984.
Post university, David trained as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton and qualified as a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1998. As an extension to this he chose to specialise in taxation within private practice which led to him gaining a qualification as a member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1992.
Between 1994 and 1998 David obtained a wide range of accountancy and taxation experience as a partner in a small firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax.
Continued experience in the field led to David becoming a fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1998.
David joined United Health Plc in 1998 as an Accountant and was appointed the post of Financial Director in May 1999.

Ross Pullan
Ross has over 25 years' experience at the sharp end of property development, construction and joint ventures. He is a hands-on businessman with a talent for achievement and a determination to see projects through. He has maintained an extensive network of essential business contacts throughout the building industry and has a unique and highly focused approach.

C Richard Jackson MBE DL
Richard was originally Joint Managing Director of the Centaur Clothes Group, as well as Chairman of the award winning Nidd Vale Motor Group from which he de-merged the business of Mercedes Benz North Yorkshire in Harrogate, York and Scarborough. Richard was also a Director of Consort Homes and Jackson Property Investments. He Chairs the Development Forum of the Prince's Trust in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Mandy Cheriton Metcalfe
Mandy has been employed at United Health since 1996. She was educated at Kingston University, London and Nottingham Trent University where she gained her Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management.
Mandy has progressively worked within United Health gaining experience and developing her skills to attain her current position. Mandy is driven by ensuring that we continuously offer an excellent service and react to the changing market within the care sector in the most appropriate ways without compromising our delivery of quality care.
