Highfields is a purpose built specialist unit situated in a private residential area only a few hundred metres from Swadlincote town centre. The home has been carefully designed to help people with complex needs experience everyday community interaction supporting them in fulfilling their aspirations in a domestic setting.

General Information

The Care Home has an open visiting policy, friends and relatives are welcome at any time and do not require an appointment. We would however ask them to respect the normal sleeping hours.

GP services are available, but we encourage you to retain your own GP if this is practicable.

Highfields has its own laundry room which is equipped to provide a laundry service within the home.

A sensory room has been specially equipped and decorated to enable service users, time out on a one-to-one basis, in a relaxing, secure, sensory environment.

Highfields has its own private garden patio area to the rear which is fenced for the security of our service users.

There is a purpose built mobility bus which has full wheelchair access and fixings with seating for staff supervision.
