Here at the H2O pool there are two changing rooms with lockers and a changing room with overhead hoist. Two other changing rooms are connected by an overhead hoist movement system, taking users to showers, changing beds and directly into the pool. The larger changing rooms are equipped with three height adjustable changing beds shower seats and two mobile shower chairs. The facilities also include two fully accessible toilets and a lounge where users can relax after their session and have a drink in comfort. Re-hydration is essential following a hydrotherapy session. The pool measures 5.0 metres by 4.5 metres and 1.2 metres in depth. It is a modern deck level pool allowing easy and safe exit from the water. The water is maintained at 34oC with the air temperature balanced to match, as warm water is the essential requirement for hydrotherapy treatment. Entry into the pool is gained via the pool steps, the pool side hoist or the ceiling tracking hoist from the changing rooms, enabling easy access for all. Water therapy aids are also available to make the sessions as fun and as enjoyable as possible. |
