About the home

Inside the home, bedrooms are decorated in accordance with the personal choices of the residents, and reflect their personality. There are also good sized communal areas including a lounge and dining area. Externally the home has a large and attractive garden area. This is equipped with a patio, decking and raised sensory garden boxes that enable the residents to tend their own fruit and vegetables.

Activities are an important part of the day at Hillside and are geared to the particular interests and preferences of our residents. There is a wide variety of events and trips out including outings to the coast, cinema, bowling and theatre.

Our care is always delivered with the individual in mind. We do not operate a one size fits all policy. Everyone is different and we develop specific care plans to give the best possible support and care. Our experienced and committed team work hard to deliver a very high standard of care for everyone. We encourage family involvement in the home and we like to develop relationships with relatives who play an important part in making life for our residents as rich and fulfilling as possible.
