At The Valleys we are looking for a reliable and conscientious person to supervise and lead our Domestic Staff team.
We want our home to always present the highest standard of cleanliness and appearance for residents, staff and visitors alike.
In your role you would have overall responsibility for the general cleanliness and hygiene within the home as well as overseeing the refurbishment of all soft furnishings.
You will be involved in the preparation of staff rotas for the cleaning of all rooms and public areas including furniture, fittings, fabrics, carpets and sanitary equipment. You would also be responsible for making sure that cleaning costs stay within budget guidelines.
You should be capable of delivering strong leadership, managing and leading by example.
We require a person who pays great attention to detail so that a high standard of cleanliness can be maintained at all times.
You will need to be conscientious and reliable as well as committed to working in a constantly changing environment, where you will need to respond positively and flexibly to the changing needs of the home. We would want you to be someone who takes a pride in what they do and the results they achieve.
The position is full-time for 40 hours a week.
